Here it i- it’s gone. The Nexus 7 Dock released in the UK

Any owner of the Google Nexus 7 has probably realised a lack of a dock that many other tablets have – namely the iPad. Well, that’s all changed in the UK with the release of the Nexus 7 Docking Station. Announced at CES this year, it’s proven to be a massive hit with Nexus 7 users as it’s already out of stock in the Asus UK online store.

Coming in at £25 with dock charging ability and a 3.5mm jack that allows you to hook up the Nexus to external speakers,  this is a welcome addition as the Nexus 7 speakers aren’t anything to write home about; especially in terms of its overall volume – headphones are almost always needed unless in a quiet environment.

It’s also tilted so perfect for watching TV/films on your shiny new tablet. A must have if you can get your hands on one! If you haven’t managed to get one yet, don’t worry as Asus has said that more stock should be landing soon and the product will go back on sale. People that have had a play with it have commented about how its simplicity makes it a must have for any Nexus 7 owner.
